Religion is not a single class in St. Philip Neri School; it permeates everything we do! Every subject, from science to history, from literature to the arts, is presented through the grander lens of our faith and morals. Our students do not merely learn about God, they personally encounter and experience Him and His unconditional love for them. Simply put: St. Philip Neri School strives to form saints and evangelists in complete accordance with our authentic Catholic Faith.
Our teachers and students pray as a school community daily, go to Masses each week, and actively participate in religion classes.
Students also have the opportunity to go to Reconciliation, participate with their class in Adoration, Benediction and Stations of the Cross, attend prayer services and plan class liturgies throughout the school year.
The liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent are observed with additional classroom activities and prayer to help students embrace the importance of these times throughout the year. Our pastor, Fr. Damien Cook, visits with each of the classrooms on a weekly basis. Fr. Cook actively engages with the students to help prepare our students to be children of God and to share their faith with others.
